Is it true that I have to put a bracket on my A/C?

Yes. According to Local Law 11 of the City of New York a bracket must be installed on all apartments’ air conditioners failure to meet Local Law 11 code will result in a $300.00 fine. If a standard bracket has not been installed for your A/C, PLEASE contact the Hope Maintenance Department at: 212-860-8821.

How do I pay my rent?

Rent will be sent to and process by “ClickPay”, a private rent collection company with a strong presence in the New York City market offering rent collection, services that are transparent, safe and secure.

Each month, you will receive a rent statement in the mail. The rent statement will show the charges for the current month, and it shows your payment history. Note, In the first month, only the current charges will show in the bill. Thereafter, the statement will include any payments and if no payment was received, the outstanding balance. Payments will automatically show in the tenant ledger.

3. There are various businesses in the neighborhood (and around the City) that have a contractual relationship with ClickPay where you may pay your rent. A list of the local MoneyGram locations that accept rent for ClickPay can be found under the cash payment tab.

*There is a four-dollar fee for each transaction at one of the local business to process your rent payment in person. These locations will accept, cash, money orders and checks.

How do I make a maintenance request?

What happens if I lose my Key Fob?

Resident must report the incident to NYPD and get a police report, and provide management with a copy of the report before we can give a replacement keyfob. A replacement keyfob is $50.00.

What Happens if I get locked out of my apartment?

What happens if my electricity is turned off?
