Arts and Culture

Arts and Culture are central to Hope Community’s vision of community development. Art projects/ exhibitions offer a way to preserve and celebrate the longstanding culture and traditions of East Harlem. Galeria del Barrio and Community Gardens stimulate economic development by attracting visitors and tourists to East Harlem neighborhood. Hope Community frequently uses its community garden spaces as venues for arts events and volunteer engagement.
