East Harlem, New York- April 22, 2016- We at Hope Community Inc. are pleased to announce a partnership with Project Enterprise Inc. Project Enterprise is a non-profit organization focused on providing business training, technical support, microloans, peer support, access to markets, networking opportunities, pro bono legal and other vital services to small businesses and independent entrepreneurs. This newly formalized partnership will allow us to provide our residents and the East Harlem community with the tools needed to thrive in the small business marketplace.
With the affiliation, Hope Community will be gaining a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) which will enable us to support economic sustainability throughout our residential portfolio and beyond. Project Enterprise will be moving to 333 East 119th Street on March 4th and gaining the back end administrative support of Hope Community. Both organizations will be working closely to provide essential services needed by so many residents in under resourced neighborhoods such as East Harlem.
