Maya Kurien, a Founder and Principal at Main Street Wisdom, is a public affairs strategist with more than a decade of experience navigating complex challenges in government, policy, and the civic sector. She has experience leading coalitions, advancing policy, and strengthening nonprofit operations. Maya has secured major policy wins in housing, economic development, land use, and infrastructure, and has advised nonprofits and business associations on strategy, advocacy, and operations.

Maya has been recognized by City and State New York Magazine as a 2025 Asian American Trailblazer and a 2024 NYC 40 Under 40 leader. She is also on the board of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. As the founder of Main Street Wisdom, she partners with nonprofits, coalitions, and civic organizations to design advocacy strategies, build capacity, and drive measurable impact.
